Governing Our School's Practices and Procedures
Boroondara Park Primary School has a strategic approach to policy development and works to provide information to our community about the school’s practices and procedures.
The Child Safe Standards have been updated, and the school has taken the time to revisit the Child Safety Code of Conduct. All BPPS staff, volunteers, contractors, service providers, school council members, and any other adult involved in child-connected work must follow the Child Safety Code of Conduct.
The Child Safety Code of Conduct applies to all physical and online environments used by students. It also applies during or outside of school hours and in other locations provided by the school for student use (for example, a school camp).
We have created a child-friendly version of our Child Safety Code of Conduct and will use it to support our students in understanding the behaviour that is acceptable and unacceptable towards them from the adults they interact with at school.
